Susan Gallagher, Dipl OM, works in several complimentary alternative medical offices and nursing homes. She enjoys working with other holistic practitioners because these therapies increase the chances for fast and truly effective healing. Her colleagues’ specialties include: acupuncture, chiropractic,hypnosis, psychology, and massage. Treating nursing home residents and staff presents its own challenges, yet proven successes and satisfaction to help an underserved population and its caretakers.
In addition to her MSOM in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in 2002, she also earned black belts in two martial arts (Traditional Tae Kwon Do and Chinese Kempo Karate) and is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor (Shoshoni Yoga School).
Her home office is at Soul Journey Health, LLC in Lakewood, CO. which includes a movement room and classroom that hosts Hatha and Kundalini yoga, classes including aromatherapy and relationship improvement, qi gong, martial arts, and meditation. She firmly believes that movement and classes gives patients an increased opportunity for total and optimal health.
Susan also practices at Cornerstone Wellness Group in Littleton, CO and in nursing homes in Denver and Castle Rock, CO.

I practice a gentle needling technique and can also do acupressure and Shonishin for the needle adverse and children. I also use cupping, moxa and moxabustion, far infrared therapy, aromatherapy, and prescribe Chinese herbs regularly in my practice.
I am in network with several major insurance companies including: Blue Cross Blue Shield, some Cigna plans, Kaiser Senior Advantage Plan (Healthways), and United Health.
In my spare time, I am actively involved in raising money for a number of charities: Baby Girl Project, Children’s Future International, Hugs for Ecuador, and Joyful Orange Productions. I also enjoy bicycling, playing and watching soccer, martial arts, and studying wisdom.
